It’s so easy not to try…
Let the world go drifting by…
If you never trust in God…
In the end you’ll wonder why…
All our fears and all and all our cares…
We can lay them at His feet…
Wake up sleeper, be aware…
Of all God wants for you to be…
It’s so easy not to try…
Let your life just pass on by…
If you never cling to Truth…
In the end you’ll wonder why…
When this life on earth is through…
All our choosing will be done…
Did you live your life for you?
Or did you follow Christ the Son?
It’s so easy not to try
Let the world go drifting by
If you never trust in God
