There are those who say that God is dead
But this I find hard to believe
For I have seen God’s love for me
In the simple beauty of a leaf
I’ve seen God’s love in misty lakes
In the wild magnificence of a deer
I’ve seen God’s love in many ways
And each one tells me He is near
